Spectralink 8030s no more SVP??

Hey I don't know if anyone has tried loading the new firmware from polycom on an 8030 handset or not but the release notes mention no more use of an SVP server!

So I loaded the firmware up entered all my network ip addresses fired the handset up but gets stuck at status 4,6 and says No SVP IP :/ can anyone let me know why its doing this when the new firmware doesnt require an SVP server?? I tried entering a dummy IP and it came back wi0th "No response from SVP server"
