Probably more of a SpectraLink question - but couldn't find the right place for it. We have an existing SpectraLink 6300 system with a large number of analog cards - all works great. Found a CPN316 card in one of my cabinets not being used - it's for Nortel Meridian digital phones. So programmed up a 2616 and cross-connected it to the CPN316 - and all I get out of the 6020 is a loud squeal (same thing you'd hear on a buttset when connected to a digital port - just louder). 2616 set works fine when connected to the PBX.
Bad CPN316 card perhaps? Or am I missing something in the SpectraLink system? I hit F4 for the card and changed it to a Meridian card. Should work... but not having any luck. Tried disable/enable, port card reset, DISU/ENLU the TN itself, different CPN316 port, different 6020, etc... etc.
Thanks.
