After having troubles this last weekend I finally got everything back up and operating well.
I do still have 2 issues.
1.) On my portcard display I still show "PT BAD" on all of my CPD 316's
2.) On logging into my PC and going into the dumb terminal application it says "TZ not set to local time. cannot set TOD". It's never shown this before.
I can just ack and it fires right up but I haven't seen that b4.

2) You should have a file 3000.bat in your 3000 directory where chk3000 is. You should run it using the bat file and not just by running chk3000.

The bat file looks like this:

SET rem_port=com2
SET TZ=CST6CDT
CHK3000

This sets up the software for what COM port to use and also sets the TZ environment variable. in my case I am in central time, GMT -6. East coast would be CST5CDT, West coast would be CST8CDT, and so on for whatever timezone you are in.

------

I'm looking into Question 1 for you.
