I have a Windows 2000 Professional box, running Internet Explorer 6 - 6.0.2800.1106 - If I go to my trusty hotmail inbox or my.yahoo.com or finance.yahoo.com - IE6 just shuts down with no warning.
Several other pages on other sites cause this as well. I just upgraded from Win98 to 2000 and it has started. I have no ad smasher, pop up killer - I have the default IE settings, the MSoft VM configured, no repair option in the control panel (gone in 2000) for IE6 and have tried to dump the IE6 and not been able to.

Help!

Thanks for the link.
Well I frankly got so frustrated that I went back to basics. I had done an 'upgrade' from win98 to 2k which likely was the problem. A reformat of hard drive, clean install of win2000 and then install EXACTLY the same browser and hey presto the problem has gone. I luv microsoft!!!!!!
