Hey Guys,

I've used CPAN for years and come upon a question. I'm in a new job and am behind a proxy server. I need to add two entries (ftp and http) to that proxy server to let traffic through to install Perl modules. The problem is that I don't know how to tell the CPAN module to use a specific CPAN mirror.

Search yielded to much 'noise' to sort through.

Thanks

When you configure OR reconfigure CPAN, an option is add to the SITE you would like to use. On the CLI, it's simply

perl -MCPAN -e shell, which if config is not set will walk you through the process. Here you can specify which mirrors using http or ftp.

Great.
Thanks.
