I am designing a report that requires report on the quantity of certain sales items by month and by year and by customer. But I also need to show total sales for each customer by month and by year for "all" items sold to that customer. I have specified groups to show the sales items, but when the report runs it runs the sales totals by the specified groups. I have discarded the other items that are not listed on the report. If I group them all as others, the sales $ totals are right, but the quantity is not right. Could I use a sub-report inserted and how would I do this? or is there an easier way?

Thanks,
Buckwheat

Have you tried cross-tabs? These let you resummarize the reports data differently than the groupings. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting
