I have just installed Pervasive.sql 2000i onto a server (Windows 2000 Server) and then installed the client onto a Win 98 SE machine. I've set up a database through the control centre. If access the ODBC driver through the Control centre and test it, it works fine. If i access it through the ODBC from Windows Control Panel, I received the above error. I have tried the suggestion from the Pervasive site of adding in the following into Autoexec.bat: set path = "C:\PVSV\BIN: %PATH%", but this did not fix the probelm.
Appreciate any help on this.

The 1114 is a MS system error that means "A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed." This is usually caused when one of the DLLS isn't available. One thing to verify is that the path is being set correctly. If you got to a Command Prompt one the Win98 machine and type "path" (without the quotes), do you see the C:\PVSW\BIN directory listed? If not, is your network login script overwriting it? Another thing to check is the "set path = "C:\PVSV\BIN: %PATH%"" in the autoexec.bat. Make sure that it's: set path = "C:\PVSV\BIN;%PATH%"
