Specific Perfmon counter to remote machine doesn't work

I have seen a post in regards to "Perfmon to remote machine doesn't work" which is similar to my issue but not the same.

I am remoting to another server in perfmon but I cannot see the MSMQ Service as an available performance object. The actual object and specific instance are available locally on the remote server.

I can even create a local perfmon counter on the server as this MSMQ Service is available as a performance object.

I have used the Exctrlst.exe application and the MSMQ Service is listed with the option "Performance Counters Enabled" checked. I have tried to refresh this but no luck.

I also did a check to ensure the related dll is registered on the problem server and it is. I am not sure what the issue is?

P.S. I also have the same issue with a different counter not being available on different server

Thanks for the post, much appreciated. Unfortunatley since the post was first created I am also missing the performance counter related to "ASP.Net v2.0.50727" on a few other servers.

Even if nothing is in the queue I expect to see the counter available. This counter is available on other servers showing a 0 value so the discussion in the forum link doesn't help me out I'm afraid.
