Specific Notes Rule Will Not Run

Hi,

I've recently encountered a problem in which one of my Notes rules does not run. The rule automatically forwards messages containing a specific string in the subject to two other users in my domain. I have four other rules in my "Rules" folder that work fine, and in fact, they are very similar to the one that stopped working.

In an attempt to troubleshoot the problem, I've deleted and recreated the rule, but it still doesn't run.

Any suggestions?

I've experienced this in 5.x and 6.5.4

I've found the rules to be temperamental, but not found the specific trigger:
too many rules? too complex? certain type of rule?
I'm using rules to whitelist emails into a spam-free folder, so I have several.

It is also frustrating that the Notes server seems to ignore any changes to my rules until the IT department reboots it. It can take ages to see if the rules are working correctly (and to then detect and fix typos).

I would be happy to hear if you get anywhere further with this.
