Anyone out there who knows specialised equipment one can use or other techniques that can be used to recover data off a crashed Hard Disk Dive

please define "crashed".
do you mean the HD wil not even spin, or it makes noise while spinning and will not let you see the data or even boot?

Thanks Eyec

I meant in the general knowledge where data is in accessible from the HDD. It could be for a variety of reasons, e.g. Disk spinning but not seen by OS, disk not spinning, disk making noise e.t.c If there are different equipment to resolve different aspects of the crash I will be glad if in your response you can state the equipment and what it can diagonis.

Thanks

You could research they seem to have been the best that I could find... I would also be very interested in hearing about what other hardware is available and essential to the data recovery process.
