Having become familiar with PP2, I find that there are some effects that I would really like to incorporate into my projects. I took a look at Adobe After Effects 5.5 and could see right off that this software is really just a whole lot more than I really need or even want to learn.
What I am after, very basically, is more-artistic video transitions. For example, I saw a video of a wedding where the 'spin away' transition was used between camera segments, but segment A 'spun away' in the shape of a heart.
Also, I could really use some 'live' backgrounds for titling purposes.
Would you happen to know of any type of after-effects program that would offer basic effects such as this- and not a whole lot more to 'muddy the water'???
