Special Characters 1

I'm having a problem with flash not reading special characters... I'm reading the info in from the database and the content contains the trademark symbol (&#153)... Is there a way to get Flash to recognize this???

Colep, i see you got the trademark to work, how did you do it? I am trying to get the dollar sign $ to display and i am having the same trouble you had. I tried using the url encoding and it didn't help.

It depends on what font you're using - there may not be a $ symbol in it in which case you'll get an empty square. Otherwise try substituting '%24' for the dollar sign which is its URL-encoded equivalent.
