Hi, I'm new here and sorry but don't carry alot of knowledge. But If there's anything I can do.. please ask.
I am from Ohio and just a technical user with a problem related to my home computer which has windows 98 and carried Internet explorer. Within the last few days A website has taken over my default home site and I can't find a way to remove it and go to the default settings. If I go to the tools menu, my Internet options window does not include the general tab that I am normally used to using to reset default settings, delete temp files and history. It seems the last time I updated explorer this general tab changed. All my help files tell me to go to this tab to change things but it isn't available anymore. I have already tried going to the advanced tab and hitting the reset default button to no avail. I must have picked up a virus that changed these things.Would you please help me reset things to the normal default?

You're actually in the wrong forum for this question as this is a forum about IIS, The Microsoft Webserver software.

But the problem can be one of several thing related to spyware or a virus,
