Speaker beep event

How can I intercept a beep of the speaker? The speaker is initialized by other program and my program must make some action for this event. And the second similar question: how I can intercept runnning of WAV-file. The other program runs this WAV-file. Besides I need to determine which WAV-file is opened. Thanks.
