I am supporting an Si remotely and have no station ports available. How many slots does an si have for station cards. I have used 01A01 -16 and 01B01, does this mean that I would have spare slots available? Also once I put in a new card will the spare ports automatically be added to the available station ports in 'disp cap'or will I have to buy more station licences?

you probably have slots on the b carrier. If you have dsa/asa on the right side of the screen, click on the advanced tab, and run the hardware manager. It will give you a graphic view of what the switch looks like and where the avaliable slots are.

Once you insert the card the ports will be avaliable. The issue with avaliable stations, is something else. You need to do a disp cap and see how many avaliable stations you have. the sys cap in the advanced tab of the dsa/asa will tell you that also.

Your right to use (RTU) is upgradable in increments of 100
So if you currently have say a rtu of 400 and are using 389
you have 11 left before you need to add to the rtu. If you are doing an rtu upgrade and know you will need 100 but suspect you may go past that compare the pricing you get on a 100 vs 200 rtu upgrade, it may save you some money in the long haul.
