SPARCbook 6500 upgrade

I have got a SPARCbook 6500 which is currently running solaris9 and its disks are in disk suite control. I have been asked to upgrade this to solaris10, do I need to do anything special with disk suite or will the upgrade process do this?

To make matters more complicated I have got soft partitons configured on this server.

What do you mean by under Disk Suite Control. Does your SPARCbook have multiple hard drives?

The root mount points are meta-devices and a while back I had a request to create a whole lot of new file systems and this SPARbook only has one internal disk hence the reason for soft partitions:-
