I have a job that is currently exceeding the maximum space on one tape and want to have it roll to the next when the first is full. Where about could I find the ability to do such a thing if a solution exists? Or would I have to split the job into two jobs?

If you have a tape autoloader and use backup software like Backup Exec you can do this. If you don't have an autoloader you'd have to manually change the tape, which probably isn't an option, since backups usually run while we're sleeping.

Tape Autoloaders are usually a couple to several thousand $$$.

There are now 500GB tapes.
