I have been given the fun task of installing the spanish version of GP into our existing English install of 9.0 for Argentina and Mexico. The Spanish and English installs will both be accessing the same existing SQL instance that has been in use for these companies for financial entries for a while (in English).
I have the software all installed and can log into a company (after some fun online translation and head scratching). What happens then is it warns me (in Spanish) that I am not registered to run the Spanish version (at least that's what I'm getting from the translation). I was just talking to our Canadian English GP partner and his suggestion was to remove this install and reinstall as a location of Canada, but still using the spanish code (our English install is for Canada as we have been running Canadian Payroll).
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the best way to proceed with this is? I'm hoping it's a simple solution as I don't have much hair left to pull out.
Thanks
Bruce
