SPAN Tags

I have an annoying problem with a web site that I'm designing in FP2000. All the text I type is being enclosed in <span lang=&quot;en-gb&quot;> tags!! I have developed many web sites in FP2000 and this is the first time this has happened and I can't find out to turn these tags off??

From the menu bar, select Tools>Page Options. Click the General tab and deselect Use DIV and SPAN tags when positioning.

If you're copying and pasting, Paste Special>Unformatted text works well to eliminate any extra code.

I did see that option when hunting around FS2000, but even after deselecting the option it still continues to add the span tags.
