After recently upgrading my FreeBSD box to 5.3, I had to reinstall/upgrade a number of ports including Qmail-Scanner, ClamAV, and SpamAssassin. Everthing seems to be working well except SpamAssassin.

I don't seem to be grasping the syntax for the new format of /usr/local/etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf which I simply want to rewrite the subject header so that I can filter the messages with my mail client.

The relevant lines of local.cf:

required_score 10.0
rewrite_header Subject ****SPAM****
report_safe 1

Messages are getting tagged in the headers, such as:
X-Spam-Status: Yes, hits=28.8 required=5.0
X-Spam-Level: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

But the subject line is unaltered. Googling this problem has had little success.
