Hey people i have a question.......i got the GFI spam app running and while its blocking off alot of crap i still get one type of problem spam comming through. Its always from a different email address and its just a picture embedded into the message and the only real text in the message is so generic theres no way i can keyword it off - it would block most of our e-mail. i cant block them does anybody have any ideas how to?

if you find a way, you'll be a rich man. These are the more recent spam types, and get through because the spam filter cannot parse text embedded in an image. The only way to stop them getting through would be to reject mail based almost wholly on the sender's details. That would result in a lot of false positives.
Don't worry, we're all in the same boat. Most of the mails include only the image without text, so if you can find a way to block mail like this, you're onto a winner. I'm sure someone is already working on some sort of over-elaborate, text-recognition mail scanner as we speak
