We have Symantec Corp. Antivirus installed on our NT Server with CLients installed on a mix of XP & Win' 98 Workstations. This works well for us but some Workstations are receiving spam. Our email is via Outlook Express on each PC (no mail server).
Can anyone suggest an effective way to stop spam either globally on our network, or on the individual PC's with the problem?

Hrm...Outlook Express? If you move over to Outlook you can flag specific senders as "Junk Mailers". I don't know if Outlook Express has this functionality or not. On an enterprise level, without a mail server, I think you may be hosed up. At least in an "ease of management" perspective.

Norton provides an antispam client that is controlled at the client level. However, I haven't used any antispam programs to date, so I cannot recommend one over another.

MailWasher Pro is a really good solution that you can control from one PC (multiple accounts, as many as you like).

Check it out.
