Hey all,

We need a new spam filter service. We have 2 currently in mind. The first my boss likes (he has heard good things) is GFI. Has anyone here used it? Any good? Any pitfalls?

I would like to find the cost for messagelabs? Anyone know a ballpark - good points/bad points too?

TIA

Dan

Using GFI at present.

I reckon it has cut down SPAM by about 80 percent. (Prev. no SPAM filtering)

Not perfect, as some spam which to the naked eye is clearly spam, but the bayesian filter does not mark it as such.

I think this is probably because we have four very different businesses running of of the one mail server so the bayesian analysis gets warped, or has to allow a much broader scope of e-mail...

NB: It does archive all external->internal & internal->external mail happily.

Cheers.
