Hi guys this is probably a easy fault to solve but im not great with exchange and dont want to cause any problems as it seems to be working fine except one user. he is try to send emails from his home account (sky email) to anyone in the office but he gets a rejection from the server saying the server thinks it's spam, could you tell me where I find the black list and how to add him to a safe sender. Many thanks guy's

could you tell me where I find the black list
what makes you think it's a black list? It could be any of a number of issues that causes this. As Zelandakh says, post the NDR message and that should shed some light on the issue.

Adding them to a safe sender list if there are underlying problems isn't the way to correct these issues.

thanks zelandakh i will post the NDR message. 58sniper as i explained im not great on exchange and the only way i could put it in to laimens terms was saying blacklist. Thought this site was designed to help people not make them feel stupid.

It *is* designed to help people. If you are not great on Exchange you need to give us information rather than putting it in layman's terms.

I don't see anything in Pat's response that makes him think you are stupid or even suggest / make you feel stupid. I also know him personally and can safely say he doesn't make people look or feel stupid even when they demonstrate it (which you didn't)!

Paste in the NDR but by all means change the email addresses - use user@outsidedomain.com or user@ourdomain.com or similar so that we know which is which.

Hi guys sorry for my silly responce yesterday just had a bad day. hope you havent taken offence 58sniper.

here is the NDR

Looks like you don't have an rDNS entry for your mail server. Contact BT and ask them to set you one up for mail.yourdomain.co.uk or whatever is your public DNS entry.
