Hi all;

Our company has been under a e-mail spam attack for 3 days now.
We have been averaging 10-12 hits a minute, sometimes as high as 30 per minute. Most are from mortgage brokers and on-line drug companies. Now this morning there are chain letters coming in you know the ones "Send money to the name at the top, put your name at the bottom..."

Any help would be appreciated.

Ed

Sometimes you're the windshield... Sometimes you're the bug.

Try to use filters or rules which can be set up as parts of your mail program. (Click Help, select index, and rules or filter.) It is possible to block messages from one or more senders and domains. You can also automatically delete messages containing specified words.

Thanks for the help. Our network guy, Dr. Science (sorry-inside joke) is going to add filters and some badly needed security updates. I don't do anything with this, I'm just a dumb old FoxPro guy, usually here in the Foxpro forums. Just stopped in here to get some feedback.

Thanks again
