Space reclamation hangs

Hi

Have an issue when space reclamation on the tapes on a remote site opens the same volume for both input and output, moving no files and no bytes.

The processes just hang stopping all other processes from running.

What version of the TSM Server are you running?

Also post the actlog around the time frame of the space reclamation. There may be a message that may or may not provide a hint.

would do if it would hang again, i have been asked by ibm to trace the servers, but since i have turned trace on, they have behaved on all the the reclaim processes
