What parm will I need to update in my init<Instance>.sap file so the space<Instance>.log file is created on a WIN 2003 server?

It gets created in /oracle/<Instance>/sapreorg on my UNIX servers.

BRTOOLs online backup is failing because it cannot find the space.log file.

I mis-spoke in the other thread.

What is the sapreorg environment variable on the 2003 box set to? If it is not set it should be something like SAPREORG=[drive]:\?\?\sapreorg

We tried updating all the fields we could find with F:...\sapreorg and recycled the application... Directory is still empty. I have been unable to find anything on the net. The person that installed on Win is in India for a Month...

I am a Unix admin that runs the DataProtector backups...

Nothing is straight forward..

Thanks again...

If you open a command prompt and type set and the press enter do you see what the SAPREORG environment variable is?
