Me and my colleagues use same application and database server. But the crystal report we generated out sometimes are different. For example a same report I have a space line between two records, but when they don't have space. Is it possible? What could be the reason?

A different printer, different monitor resolution or different versions of the fonts used. To test this run it on one PC and save the report with data. Then send it to the other PC and open it without refreshing it. If it changes without a refresh then it is probably one of those things. If it opens the same and changes after refresh then it is a data issue like a different driver or possibly even reading a different instance of the database. If it stays the same even after the refresh then it was a different version of the report (and now you have fixed it).

Thanks for this. The problem is after I generated a report from a MRP system. I have to export it to crystal formate again and then save it. Then I when I tried to open this crystal report, an error message pop up:" The saved data will be discarded since one or more formular failed to compile".
So I could not test if it is a monitor problem. any other suggestion?

Are you saying that once you have the exported RPT that you can't open that report in Crystal on either your PC or his?
