We moved a customer to Powered by and use a SPA112 for paging and a bell ringer via SIP. The issue we are having is with the bell ringer and the ring time. Its an older buzzer actually. Is AC powered and loud. The buzzer used to ring for the standard ring cycle when on the old system, now on the SPA112 it rings for maybe a second each cycle. Ring cadence is 60(2/4), ring waveform is sinusoid (we did try trapezoid), ring frequency is 25 (tried 20 as well), ring voltage is 85. On the IPO we are running 11.0.0.2.0 build 23, and the group the ringer extension is in is a Collective Call Waiting. Not sure what to check to get the ringer to go the full 2 seconds.

Might I suggest a SIP Relay instead of the SPA ATA?

The AC powered ringer just has a 90VAC relay to detect ring voltae, and switches 120VAC to the buzzer during the ring cycle. Cut out the middleman, use the SIP relay contacts to trigger the buzzer directly, or depending on the design of the buzzer/ringer, drive a slave relay with a small coil and hefty contacts

Can look into this. Trying to find a solution that doesn't cost anything additional. They say its not a huge issue, since they can still hear it in the shop and it is not quite as annoying. Our other option is to just bring the old IP500v2 as an expansion and use an analog port on that for the ringer.

Just seeing if anyone else has any ideas for settings in the SPA112. I have presented the viking option to the customer, but they don't want to spend additional money on something that "worked" before and should work now.
