Hello All,
I just applied SP7 to both of my Netware 6.5 sp2 servers. As a result, both servers have had a significant drop in available memory. Looking at my trend graphs, I dropped about 400MB on my Groupwise server which has 1.5 GB of RAM in it and about 180 MB on my file server which has only 1GB of RAM.
The GW server is running fine even though it has less free memory. The file server though, is running out of memory each night during the backup. Previously it hovered at about 400MB free so it handled the dips it took during the backup. Now it hovers at about 210MB free and is getting down to 70MB free during the backup and it is causing strange errors in the backup.
Has anyone experienced these types of elevated memory usage when moving to SP7? Any suggestions?
I did apply a post sp7 winsock update that was supposed to help a memory leak issue but it did not fix the issue. I see several other post sp7 updates but none fix any type of memory issues.
Any help would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Daniel Joaquin
