I am trying to add a service pack (SP6A) so I can then use the SRP patch.

Trying to do this on two of my servers. I have already patched several of my others with no problem.

I have a D: drive with about 200 MB on ServerA
I have a D: drive with about 600 MB on ServerB

(C: drives have less then 60 MB free on both, and tried to delete everything I could.)

I have downloaded the full file from miscrosoft (30+ MB file) for SP6A and placed it on the D: drives.
(Above free space reflects available space with 30+ MB file saved on to them)

When I try to run the patch, I get an error box that tells me I need 60 or 120 MB of free space. According
to the specs I listed above I DO have enough free space but can't get this thing to install!

Anyone know what I am missing?

HI!

Try to move the SWAP FILE to from drive C to drive D, and you may also decrease it's size.
This can be done from "System Properties" but requires restart.
I recomend that you also disable the "memory dump" option from there,
if you have limited disk space and NT tries to write a XXXmb sized file on crash, it's just making it worse.

However, the disk free space problem is very urgent.
You can deal with it now (HIGHHHHHLY RECOMENDED!) or deal with it when you start getting those blue screens in the most in appropriate time!
The server with 200mb free is not acceptable. Do not install any SP until you add new disk space to it. No matter which way!

The server with 600 mb free can wait a few days, but must be upgraded.

The reason that the SP6 is not installing is that genrally when you run a SP it exctracts data in to your temp folder first therefore decreasing the amount of free space you actually have.
