AS2000 has SP4.. dunno if it is a typo....
you can apply sp4 without any preceding patches

I dont think there is any conflict with Win2k Sp3 and AS2000...
there was a problem with the security roll up patch from MS...which caused a few problems with ARCServe compressions and encryption...;
