SP3 client with SP2 Hierarchy ???

Hi all,

can SMS 2003 SP3 client be used within hierarchy with SP2 ?
(Cli push will be of course disabled)

I will have pc images generated sooner than the hierarchy gets upgraded. But anyway I consider to build images containig SP3 and for temporary period use them with SP2 hierarchy.

Did you try this scenario or have any information obout it ? I appreciate any tip or advice.

It shouldnt be a huge issue. (it has not in the past) The only thing that could give an error is the SMS_def.mof some of the changes in sp3 the sp2 db didnt know about, then you would get errors saying it didnt know what a certain class items were.
