SP3 and HP Ultrium Autoloader

After applying SP3, I can no longer see any autoloader slots under the device. I use an HP Surestore autoloader with an ultrium-1 drive, and the tape library option.
The strange thing is, Device Config can see the slots fine and i can allocate a cleaning slot. It's only in Arcserve Manager, Device that no slots are displayed.
I tried using the command-line based chgtest utility but this could not see the slots either.

The autoloader worked fine under SP2, but I had to upgrade to SP3 to fix slow backup issues.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I've just found the solution to this problem on CA's crappy Open Forums:

I made changes to the registry:
HKLM\Software\ComputerAssociates\ArcserveIT\Base\TapeEngine

Created a key name 'Config' then added a value 'EnableSharedDevices' type REG_DWORD, value of 1

Stopped and restarted the tape engine and all is well!
