G'day all,

Just trying to find out when E2k3 SP2 will be relased. I have a site that the datastore limit upgrade for E2k3 Standard from 16Gb to a maximum of 75Gb would be very nice right now.

I haven't heard (or found info) of the release, just wondering if others have.

Thanks in advance

does it require sp1? because i can't install sp1. keeps telling me ftp is running, but it's not and can't find a service that's using ftp.

SP2 should not require SP1 however it is likely that it too will not install for you if it sees that it can't shut down ISI properly.

Open IIS and verify that there are no FTP sites listed. If there really are none, then I wold suggest you Add FTP support through Control Panel/Add Remove Programs/Add Windows Components then remove it. Hopefully htat will clear out any ghosts in your system.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

You do not need to have SP1 installed to be able to load SP2. It loads quickly and works fine.

Thanks for the responses guys,

This link below outlines what is in the service pack. It looks like quite an upgrade. It also looks pretty good. I think Microsoft have done a good job increasing the database limit as this is likely to impace their sales of Enterprise edition.

Cheers
