I have set up a new server under a 4.11 network. I loaded sp1 also fine. Then I loaded sp2 this is when i lost iManager. did I miss something. I tryed to load just sp2 and still no iManager.

one other thing when i set iprint up i get it loaded i set up the manager then load the ndpsm [manager_name] then the broker then load the broker [broker_name.context] then the printer but when i go out to the manager screen it say the print "Needs Attention" when i look to see what needs Attention and it says "Printer not connected" but the problem with this is that I have iPrint running on a server on the same LAN that is working just unable to to add or delete printers.

any help would be great thankz

First off, you load the Broker before you load the NDPS Manager. On the printers that say "Needs attention", what does it say when you press enter on these printers and look at the status? It should tell you why it needs attention. Don't get to confused with NDPS and iPrint, they are basicly the same thing, only with NDPS 3 that comes with NW6, you have IPP support.

On you iManager, how are you trying to access it? Explain how you lost iManager, what is it you are seeing when you try? Check your autoexec.ncf file and see what the load order is for the NVXADMUP and TOMCAT33 lines. These are the commands needed to load iManager.

Also, be sure your 4.11 servers are running DS 6.16, and be sure that your NW6 server is not in any replica ring with any 4.x server. DS 6.x does not understand aux class atributes and can cause DS problems when DS 6 and DS 86 are in the same replica ring. This does not mean you can't have them in the same tree, just not the same replica ring. Brent Schmidt CNE,Network + [atom]

when I say i lost iManager. the ipadress does not work.
could get in @ https10.104.19.241:2200 before sp2 now i get can't find the page.

both of the the files are in the autoexec.ncf

dealing with the 4.11 servers they will be going bye bye once i get the netware6 server on line.
