All,
While attempting to load SP 5, deactivated the previous SP (19303). The previous SP is in deactivating state (been there for a month through several System Platform resets).
Anyone know the syntax to abort the deactivation process? Attempts to remove it through the browser or PuTTY all return "update is not in the correct state" response.

Yes, hopefully you have a backup.

Do an "in place" upgrade, in other words, upgrade to the same version you have, and re-patch it. Worst case scenario you will have to reload the entire system from scratch, that's what the backup is for.

Of course you need to do this off hours when no one needs to use the switch, as it will be down for several hours.

you can also open a ticket with AVAYA, who will take 3 weeks, charge you $6,000 and end up doing to the same thing.
