SP portal server eval to production 1

I have downloaded the eval version of SP and have set up a modest intranet site. The business want to go-ahead and develop it further and I have obtained a permanent licence key, but how do I substitute this new key for the eval key that is about to expire?

And if that is not possible - how do I move the content I have set up from an eval SP Portal server set up to a new production system?

Hello,

You can't actually just switch from an evaluation Key (license) to a full production license, you will have to do an installation upgrade from Evaluation to production version.
