I'm trying to rebuild a small 6.3 lab system that I had. I have re-installed system platform and it ran successful, but I'm getting SP Platform error when I try the web interface. I've let this sit for several hours as I know the bootup can take a while. I've tried the base SP 6.3 and then a 6.4 disc and even a 6.7 disc. Installs fine each time, but getting the web error each time. What else would be causing that? I can ssh to the services IP, but not browse.

What is your laptop configuration for the services port?

laptop config:
192.11.13.5 = IP
255.255.255.252 = SNMask
192.11.13.6 = default gateway

You should be able to connect cat5 crossover cable from laptop to the server's
services port and connect and configure server via Web Browser to CDOM using
192.11.13.6

I have everything setup properly. I installed the ISO from disc using the services port. I can ssh to 192.11.13.6, but I get the SP Plat error when browsing to 192.11.13.6. Multiple versions of SP. I thought maybe it's browser related but I've tried FF, Chrome and IE. Same thing. Only thing I haven't tried is finding an old version of the browser, but I don't think it's that.

I'm really struggling with this. I've installed this multiple times on different 8300's and I get this SP platform error on every one. The install works each time with no errors. I've tried multiple Media Gateways as well in case this was an issue with the slot. I even took an 8300 that I know had a working sp and cm template and I get this same error. I've tried multiple laptops/browsers just to rule out something with newer versions of chrome. I fired up a laptop that was super old and still the same issue. I can ssh to the services IP with no problem. It's like the hypervisor isn't launching.

set the date when you install it to something in 2018
change the time on your laptop back when you connect :)

in the install utility I set the date back to 2018, as well as the laptop. No dice and same thing. I watched SP install all 5 packages successfully and do the post install scripts. Still getting this SP Platform error.

If you set your laptop IP to an IP in the same subnet as the procr and gateway and connect the laptop to the LAN port on the gateway, can you get to the web page of the procr? Once I got the install finished I wouldn't bother using the 192.11.13.6 IP and would do my programming on the LAN IP.

I'm staging it offsite so that network isn't local here, so I need the services IP. I've done these before, so I'm not sure what the issue is with all of these.

would you know from the services port how I would get these?

get into cdom, somewhere in /var/log

Maybe httpd or tomcat or in the Avaya folder under vsp
