SP Cannot Write: Broken Pipe

Installing SP on and 8300D.. after entering the ip info the install started and then went skitzo with pages of messages:

tar: gzip: Cannot write: Broken Pipe is this a bad disk/.iso ?
 
If you are unsure don't skip the test media option when installing platform , if you test the media it will take a while but at least you know when it passes your iso is ok.

Also be sure to use a DVD drive with an external power supply. The S8300D USB port does not supply enough power for some DVD drives. Avaya has a list of approved DVD drives somewhere.
 
Thanks, the disk check did fail. Looked like corrupted file. Re downloaded and all good.
