Do Microsoft include individual Hotfixes (that you apply individually) within a Service Pack?

Or do SPs solely contain a bunch of fixes which aren't available individually via a HF?

Thanks for any guidance

Usually an SP is a cumulative collection of security hotfixes/patches and some fixes to the OS itself. As it pertains to Win2K, after SP4 there was a security rollup package released in Sept 2005 since they are not producing any new SPs
With that said, if you go back to pre-SP4/SP3 patches you will probably some individual ones that were taken care of by the update to SP3 or later
Hope this helps.
