Hello,
I was hoping that someone could help get me started with configuring my instance of SourceSafe to allow remote access via HTTPS. I went into the SourceSafe admin tool and created a user account and password (other than the admin) and also added the web services, etc. to my Default Website on IIS 5.1 (SourceSafe/VssService.asmx, etc). I additionally set the SourceSafe directory to require only Windows Integrated authentication.
I have been following the documentation from this website:
I am stuck on step 7. I have attempted to log in with both the user account I created in the SourceSafe admin tool and my own Windows user id -- neither of which work. I'm new to IIS, so I'm not familiar with the Windows Authentication requirements. Could someone help me along?
Thanks!
Nick Ruiz
