Can anyone help..

I have been trying to integrate sourcesafe with frontpage and/or interdev for ages, and have never got anywhere. I am uspposed to use IIS to enable "external source control", but never see this option :-(

The microsoft articles are all murky on this matter, and I was hoping someone here had done this, and could give some tips?

Ta.

This is such a task and I had a hard time with it. The only way I could get it to work was to install everything and then start a new project in interdev. Interdev will ask you a couple of easy questions, make sure you set your box as the master when it ask so you will have admin rights to the project. Once you have everything going and you have added some stuff to your interdev project you then go to source safe and add the project. It will ask you where the project is on your box and add all the appropriate files to source safe. After you have the project in source safe and you have set your working folder, select all the files in your project in source safe and check them all out. If someone else is working on the same project with you on another box all they have to do is sink up to source safe. Source safe is a tricky beast but its saved me a couple of times.

I hope this helps,
DJ

Thanks for the advice!

Doe sthis actuallt get interved to "integrate" though, or does it mean I would have to use sourcesafe to check out/in the files?
