ARCserve 2000 SP3 on Win2k Pro
Daily Differential backup job using GFS. I have a specific source order set to backup my 20 plus servers in a specific order (Some processing takes place requiring certain servers to be backed up first and I prefer to have the Exchange servers and MY computer done last.)
Last night I added two global filter rules to ignore all files modified and created before last Friday (Start of my last full backup). This was done because an Admin made a mass change to securities on several file servers - this turns on the archive bit on all the files - causing ARCserve to backup everything.
This morning I found that my pre-set source priority was ignored. - My computer was done first - then all the agents - then the preferred shares.
I'm wondering if this maybe a bug - does setting global filters cause the source priority to be ignored?
Has anybody else experienced this problem?
