so i have a situation where i am using the extereme switch as the core router of the network and we are using a firewall to push traffic via VPN up to the other location, but i had to use ACL's to keep the traffic on the same vlan as the firewalls couldnt handle the traffic coming in from a different VLAN. so any how my question is this. does a ACL route superscede the static routes? it appears that way, but i had to put the statci routes back in so that i could still get to the switch via telnet. whcn applying the ACL's does that basically block the static routes (other than the switch managment)?
