I have been fighting the solution of changing my sounds in office 2003 outlook. This is what I have tried.
Start->Control Panel->Sounds and Audio Devices. Sounds tab and under program events, I scolled down to Microsoft Office->New Item. Changed the sound and restarted Outlook. I cant get it to play my new sound. I have tried creating a rule, but it seems to miss most of them.
