Soundcard problem

I have a orchid 3d nusound soundcard installed on my P.C.
It use to work fine in win95, but i have recently upgraded to win98. The soundcard no longer functions. I cannot find any updates to drivers etc.
Can anyone help with where to find information or anyone already come to the conclusion this product does not work with win98!!!!

Are you looking for an Orchid driver? I believe your sound card uses an Aureal Vortex 1 chip. You may want to check the card. If it does you can download the Aureal Vortex drivers here.

According to Vortex if the card is a PCI card it uses the Vortex 1 chipset. There is no reference to Orchid at their web site. There are reference drivers which would be a good start and I could have sworn that Diamond bought them out a few years back.
