Sound Quality on Direct Overseas Calls on 2616s....

Hi,

O.k. this one really has me stumped for an answer - we have several users who call direct overseas to various countries without any issues of sound quality - a user just reported that when they call direct to Bangledesh, India, the sound quality is really poor to non-existant (neither party can hear each other) and that sometimes, there are multiple voices on the line at the same time due to an echo effect. This happens on more than one user's phone in the same department. However, when they receive calls from Bangledesh, India, the calls are crystal clear. I have a sl1/61c R.24 V.25 - any ideas?

Talk to your carrier about routing those calls another way.

I agree with Hawks. I had the same problem could be hitting a bad satelite.
