Hello,

I'm doing a Director project with externally linked .wav files. When I start the movie, there is a crack or popping sound right before the first audio file plays. The only way I was able to prevent it is to change the sound device to QT3Mix. However, I need another solution. I can't assume that the end user will have QuickTime.

Anyone have any suggestions? I need to send out a proof today, so it's sort of urgent. Thanks in advance.
