I had to reinstall windows 98 because of a problem I had with it. Now I do not know what driver to use for my sound. No matter what I do I can not seem to get the sound back. Any ideas? [sig][/sig]

If you are unsure which card you have go to "control panel/system/device manager" and remove all from "other devices" then reboot. Windows should tell you which card it detected with "new hardware found" at reboot. If not you will have to take the cover off and look at the largest chip on your sound card. The numbers and letters will correspond to the drivers needed. The other possibility is a faulty sound card to start with.
Have fun [sig][/sig]
